Apple and Samsung together accounted for 26% of global smartphone shipments in Q2 2026, with iPhone 17 leading sales. Premium demand surged despite a 11% market decline, while chipset shortages pushed prices up by 80-85%. Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra also made a strong debut in the top five.
