Dinosaurs found in India: The giant creatures that once roamed the subcontinent

Several millions of years ago, before the existence of modern cities, forests, rivers, and many other things in India, there used to be massive dinosaurs walking across the subcontinent. India might not be the first country which comes to mind when talking about dinosaurs. However, the country has a rich prehistoric past. Fossils unearthed from different areas in India, including Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra, show that there were many large meat-eaters and plant-eaters in the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. Such fossils have greatly contributed to the understanding of dinosaurs' evolution in Gondwana. There are at least five interesting dinosaurs in India's prehistory.
