Health officials turn to mobile-phone data to track Ebola spread in Congo

Health officials in the Democratic Republic of Congo are using anonymized mobile phone data to track population movements and predict the spread of Ebola. The World Health Organization reports that the current outbreak is the fastest on record, with over 6,250 infections and 3,039 fatalities.
