Qualcomm strikes AI chip deal with Amazon, offers right to buy about $4 billion in stock

Qualcomm said on Tuesday Amazon ‌could buy up to $60 billion of its AI data-center chips and related products under a long-term partnership, bolstering the chipmaker's effort to become a major supplier of AI infrastructure.
