UFBU Announces Major Strike Programme, Indefinite Strike Over PLI and Five-Day Banking

The United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) has announced an extensive nationwide agitation programme, including multiple all-India strikes and an indefinite strike, intensifying its opposition to the Government’s unilateral Performance Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme. Five-day banking and other pending issues also remain central to the unions’ demands.
